SeelenWalzer, formerly known as Richthofen, was formed in 1997 by Andy Classen (former Holy Moses guitarist) and Dirk Weiss (Warpath's vocalist). They recorded the album "Seelenwalzer" with guest musicians and released it on GUN Records on May 26, 1997. Now, almost exactly 22 years ago to the day, you can get your hands on the album again - same content, different band name! The band created a brutal sound, that uses extremes as well as contrasts as stylistic devices. With "Schönheit der Trauer" the album also includes an almost jazzy track. SeelenWalzer perform a balancing act - both lyrically as well as musically - that might put your personal limits to a test.
