About the Author
As a Marine Corps mom and spouse, Mary Regner understands the questions and concerns that arise for a parent when their child makes the decision to join the Marines. Mary is a passionate advocate for military families. She's served on the boards of the National Military Family Association and Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, and as an ambassador for The White House Joining Forces Initiative and the Military Spouse Employment Partnership. Mary lives with her husband Major-General Mike Regner, USMC, retired, in South Carolina, where she serves on the board of the Patriots Point Foundation.
