Q: Does this actually have an ingredient to help with sensitivity?
A: Hello Shelly. Sensodyne Pronamel Intensive Enamel Repair Mouthwash contains sodium fluoride which strengthens teeth to help prevent tooth decay. It also helps to remineralize tooth enamel in the early stages of tooth decay (which can also lead to sensitive teeth).

Q: What makes this mouthwash re-mineralizing?
A: Thank you for your question, Kate! Sensodyne Pronamel formulations have been shown in clinical and laboratory studies to support the role of fluoride in enamel remineralization, enhancing the repair of demineralized enamel, and continued protection from dietary acid attacks. Exposure to dietary acids can lead to progressive demineralization, making the enamel vulnerable to wear. Sensodyne Pronamel has a range of fluoride containing products developed to help protect teeth and to strengthen acid-softened enamel. This ‘repair’ is an effect at the enamel surface that occurs on a microscopic scale and does not imply repair of visibly damaged teeth. In the mouth, there is a continuous process of demineralization and remineralization at the tooth surface.
