A: Hi Paola! Thanks to the high-heat, high-pressure retort process (similar to canning) that our pouches go through, there is no need to refrigerate unopened pouches! However, once you’ve opened the pouch, be sure to refrigerate it and consume or freeze within 24 hours of opening.

I am so confused how these are rated so highly?! I can’t get any of mine open and I’ve opened plenty of pouches in my life so I’m not dumb. I never got them open. It eventually split at the top. It wasn’t just this one pouch, I tried 3 different ones from this brand. You can even see the irritation on my finger from trying. It’s frustrating when your kid is crying hungry and you can’t get the food open!
