Q: What’s the difference between foam and polyester Mattress?
A: Thank you for your question. A foam mattress has a polyurethane foam core and fiber mattress had a thermo-bonded polyester fiber core.

Q: The movement sensor monitor does not work with foam mattresses, is this considered foam?
A: I don't think so. It doesn't feel like foam, but we did not use a sensor so I am not sure if the sensor will work?

Q: Does this mattress have the "vinyl" crinkly sound or is it soft? The vinyl makes my baby sweaty so I want to get away from that texture.
A: The mattress waterproof cover is very tight so there's virtually no sound when you move across it or put pressure on it

All of our mattress is firmness tested to infant standards on both sides of the mattress. The Toddler side typically has an extra cushion layer but still passes firmness testing for infant use.
