First off there are a tremendous amount of parts that have to be put together. Then you are sent hardware you do not need but you are not sent the 6 screws you need to put the seat onto the legs. Now they are all put together and the four legs are not even on the ground, my husband who is very handy will make them even but one should not have to do this when spending $170 a piece on stools. He also should not have had to go to the hardware store to get the screws that were needed.
