Believe the reviews about the seat height of these stools. A person is going to be sitting about 28.5” from the floor. The seat height was too much for my counter, so I returned them.

29” not 26”. Not Counter Height!

The measurements are deceiving. The legs are 26.4 inches (the advertised height), but the actual seat height is 28.5 inches. These are bar height stools, do not order if you actually need counter height. The color is perfect, and the seats are amazingly comfortable. The one I put together was easy to assemble and is sturdy to sit in. I just can't sit at my counter-height island in these without cracking my knees on the underlip of the counter. If you need bar height stools, these will work perfectly and be a stylish addition to your space. Manufacturer needs to learn how to measure stools (top of seat, not top of leg) and adjust their marketing accordingly, and Target needs to update the measurements in the description.

The chrome bar part for the footrest was a nightmare putting on and scratched the legs terribly. Thankfully, the second stool we actually did the directions reversed and it saved the legs and didn’t scratch them at all. Other than that, the chairs are sturdy and are comfortable for the price.

Measurement says 26.38” from floor to seat. I measured 28” from floor to seat. These are not the right fit for my countertop. Quality wise - it’s decent for price. Nice wooden legs. A little confusing to assemble bc the metal footrest doesn’t fit properly while installing.

These barstools are great - overall easy to assemble and they look really sleek. I kept the legs loose as I was assembling them and didn’t scratch the wood at all. More back support than I was expecting which was a pleasant surprise!

As pictured. I bought Aqua Blue and I'm happy with color. The color goes well with the retro look of the chair. The trick to assembly is don't tighten the legs all the way initially, install the chrome foot rest, and then go back and tighten the leg bolts to the seat. Delivered quickly, and Target Customer Service was great when I requested a price adjustment. The price dropped prior to my delivery.
Sturdy, nice looking stool and a good value.

Recently bought 4 of these(2 sets of 2). Solid construction and relatively easy to install. The rectangular chrome piece screws into each of the four legs to provide stability. Starting those screws can be a little challenging...you may have to clean out the predrilled holes on the legs and definitely do not tighten the legs too much when you install them first. You need the legs to still be "wobbly" to get the rectangular chrome support piece installed. the stools are sturdy, a little "firm" to sit in and for my counter height they could have been 1-1.5 inches shorter but they still work well for what we needed...a place to grab a quick lunch.

I shopped around in several online stores and this model seemed to be the one with the least negative reviews. I like the chairs, the color is a bit brighter than online and the fabric is not as smooth. It's not rough, it just has more texture. I don't see how having two people would help to assemble the chair in a smoother way. My issue was with the leg rest than scratched the wooden leg immediately when I tried to slide it. The KEY is to leave the screws of the legs very loose, THEN place the leg rest and screw it, and then go back to the base of the legs and tighten. I was able to salvage the second chair after trying that. I am also concerned about how sturdy these chairs are. The legs are narrow and they are not super comfortable for long seatings. They are pretty though. I scotchguarded them and hope they don't stain or rip easily.

Seat seems decent.
AND Target can’t fix an address for delivery immediately after an order goes through!?
It didn’t prompt me to type in an address OR to verify one on file!?
Lots of frustrating phone calls and runaround for this order.

Honestly these stools did not meet expectations. For the price of the stools I would have expected better quality. The legs don't align and the screws ended up breaking through the legs when you attach the bottom foot platform. Although comfortable the quality outweighs this. The directions were easy enough to follow but the mismatch aligning leads to difficulty in assembly. I would not recommend purchasing these stools.
