Set of 2 Cafe Chairs - International Concepts

These chairs are beautiful. Black, sleek and very comfortable in the seat and back. They're a charming addition and very sturdy. I shopped for a long time looking for just the right chairs. I'm very glad to say that these are it! There were fairly easy to put together. My daughter helped with one set and it took my husband even less time for the others. I absolutely love these chairs. We bought 3 sets and none of them were defective or damaged. We even ordered the matching bar chairs to complete the set.

The main positive thing about these chairs is they are very sturdy. However, the holes in the chair seat do not match the holes in the chair base once it is built. We contacted Target's customer service and there seemed to be a lot of confusion about figuring out who the manufacturer was and if they sent the wrong seat. Target was helpful by contacting them and letting me know that the correct seats were sent (all their chairs use the same seat), so basically you have to screw into the seat even though all the other holes are pre-made. We ordered two sets and one box came with hardware, but the second box didn't. Again, Target was helpful in contacting the manufacturer and having new hardware sent (even though they were several screws short this time). We will go to the hardware store to purchase additional screws as I'm not sure we will get more/the correct screws if we try to contact them again and this has been a several-week process. In short, the chairs are sturdy (a little bulky for our round table), I just hope future customers don't have these same issues.

The chairs are black, although they could pass for dark brown in the photo. The assembly instructions are not very clear, but once you build the first chair, the others can be built very quickly. Excellent quality and very comfortable.

These chairs are a great price and sturdy! Ordered 6 and they were put together perfect! I would highly recommend these chairs.

Great chairs. Sturdy, nice look, overall very happy with this product. Also, great price when purchased in larger quantity. You have to be handy to put them together, but once you assemble one, you'll be fine.

These chairs took longer to assemble than they probably should have, only to realize at the final step (seat attachment) that none of the seats are pre-drilled for the screws required to attach them---not even anything to indicate how to line things up or keep them in place while attaching with screws. (Seriously???) Maybe it sounds petty (and maybe it is...), but it annoys me to no end since I don't have a second set of hands to help---a fabulous opportunity to mess everything up at the end! If I'd known how unnecessarily difficult it was going to be to attach the seats, I wouldn't have bought these chairs; deal or no deal.

These are sturdy, attractive black chairs at a great price. There is some assembly, but the directions are clear. I ordered more than one pair and one of the boxes was damaged as was the chair inside. Target took it back, no problem.

This is the second set of these chairs that we bought. We had to replace 4 kitchen chairs that were cheaply made and were breaking apart. My husband had no problems putting these together (I didn't hear any complaining). They are very sturdy and match my black kitchen table very well. I think these chairs will be able to handle a lot of extra weight (which is why my other chairs broke) (we have a frequent guest who is quite hefty). They are actually comfortable to sit in also. I got these on sale for about $120 so I thought the price was great.

The picture of the chair on the website looks dark brown. I thought they would go perfectly with my very dark brown table but the chairs are BLACK.

We were very excited about getting these chairs after dealing with broken chairs for several years. We order 3 sets. When we opened the first box, both chairs had several cracks(factory flaws that had been glued and painted over). We opened up the second box, and one of the 2 chairs was cracked as well. We didn't even waste the time of opening the 3rd box. Very disappointed in the quality!

The chairs arrived in perfect condition. The packaging was excellent. It was a little confusing to put the first one together, but after the first one we had no trouble. These chairs are very sturdy. I can see them lasting. We are very pleased with the quality of the wood.

Yes, the chairs are black... but I think that is obvious. It did take a bit to put them together but they are solid and sturdy. Great chairs for the price.

When I ordered these chairs no where in the description are the chairs a painted BLACK. I place it at a 3 star, not because of any issue with the chair more an issue with the website not picturing and the description lacking the fact that they are semi- flat BLACK. Hopefully by the time you read this they will have fixed this. At least I returned them easy to the store.
