Chair quality is very poor! We followed the instructions line by line and reassembled one chair several times. We could never get any of the chairs to sit flat on the ground. It was crooked and wobbly. It is not quality wood and likely the wood was bent from moisture exposure. The seat cushions do smell very chemically, as other buyers have mentioned. The wood stain color and finish is very cheap as well. One quick coat of stain without a clear coat. One chair has an area that was missing stain. We unassembled the chairs and returned for a full refund. Do not recommend.

I should have paid attention to the reviews on here. The chairs are a nice size but (1) the fabric looks cheap and smells like chemicals, (2) they are extremely difficult to put together, and (3) they are wobbly despite hours of adjusting.

I'm not sure what to think about these chairs. They look really nice but the quality is not great. As the other reviewer pointed out they smell really bad. I kept them in the garage (thankfully detached) for two weeks to out gas and the smell disapated a bit but it's still not gone. They are easy to put together but you have to be careful to follow the directions to avoid the wobble the other reviewer reported. If you get them on sale they are a good value. I wouldn't recommend them at full price.

First of all - I love Target and appreciate their affordable version of many high end pieces of furniture. :) With that said, this chair was well styled, but both chairs were unbalanced...the back legs were shorter and made the chairs tipsy, even with adjusting their "leveling" screws on the back legs. One of the dowels was missing for securing the seats to the chairs (not a big deal), but the strong smell was the clincher...I put them in my car to transport them to a house we were staging, and the smell was overwhelming (from the seats, not the wood chairs themselves). I wouldn't have let my 4 year old ride in the car with me! All that to say - I think Target does a great job and I really liked the styling on these chairs. The wood frames were solid, but the legs were unbalanced and the seats smelled strongly (though I'm sure this would dissipate over time.)
