Superb comfort outfitted in contemporary style distinguishes the Jason bar stool. Made in Malaysia, the Jason is crafted from wood in a traditional square frame. The bar stool is fitted with a foam-padded seat underneath a smooth layer of fabric and features a sleek cut-out design on its back. This piece requires assembly and is finished in a rich espresso brown that complements the lighter tones of the fabric. Sturdy silver metal is fitted on the front footrest, making the Jason bar stool well suited for both commercial and residential settings. I really like the design of these barstools. However, the packing items in the box were FILTHY. In addition, the directions were very sparse and items were not labeled. Then, trying to assemble the chairs proved impossible. I got so frustrated that I finally had to return it.

For the price they are passable. The chairs are difficult to assemble and I tend to be very good at these things. The dowels are too large for the holes, the bolts are very tedious to turn with the supplied hex wrench. One screw kept getting hung up no matter how careful I was not to cross thread. Also there is a chip out of one of the spreaders which is painted so it's not from me. The cuts on the back of the chair are not sanded smooth and I suspect dirt will get hung up in it. The color is perfect, the design looks great, but the overall quality is not. For the price, they may still be worth it, but that is up to you. I will be returning.
