It was a case of getting what you pay for. Assembly wasn’t complicated. The screws they included to secure the seat to the frame are longer than the seat is thick so if you press down, you can feel the screw tips through the upholstery and padding. I wouldn’t expect them to hold up well to heavy use, but they were affordable and look good for now.

I bought these chairs to go with my white top dining table and it fits and matches perfectly. They are very sturdy and assembly was quite quick and easy (if you have a drill). I wish they sold these in sets of twos as well, it would go great at the ends of my table! I would highly recommend these dining chairs. If you're wondering about the color, it looks a lot darker in the photo but they're dark brown (walnut) and the seat is beige. The last photo that Target has is more accurate than the photo with all 4 chairs.
