When multiple realities collide, God reveals once again time is an illusion until the appointed times.
Review Quotes
Lorilyn Roberts continues her Seventh Dimension Series smoothly and dynamically in The Prescience, which can be defined as the human anticipation of a course of events or divine knowledge. This is a gripping YA fantasy that is based heavily on Christian messages, but is also a coming of age story for the main characters as they find their way in two different time periods. The incorporation of a visit to a spiritual dimension with talking animals, and the preparation of the biblically predicted mansions for believers, adds to Shale and Daniel's faith and lets you understand the words of God through the action. Well written and certainly exciting with chariot races and the fear of arrest by Roman soldiers, The Prescience does work as a stand-alone story, but as Book 5, it certainly would be helpful to read the beginning volumes by Lorilyn Roberts for a better understanding of what Shale and Daniel are really facing as they race against time across millennia to save not only their own souls, but those of the people they love. Readers' Favorite Review
The Prescience is Lorilyn Roberts' fifth book in her Young Adult fantasy, The Seventh Dimension. The title itself suggests a powerful story, one where things are known before they actually happen, as only our Savior can do. The plot takes us on a journey through time, from the present day where evil powers are threatening to destroy all of humanity and earth itself, to the past and a completely different world where people continued to struggle with their beliefs, if they even had any beliefs. The characters are both believable and realistic and the reader is instantly drawn into the story line, wanting to learn along with both Shale and Daniel. And there is so much to learn in this story, so much to absorb. As Daniel aptly points out, "no one is righteous enough to see everything. We see through a glass darkly, but someday, we'll see Yeshua in his glory. Eternity awaits." And, "God is just. In the end, He will make everything perfect, and that's what gives me hope." Looking forward to Book Six. Readers' Favorite Review
Daniel and Shale are in Jerusalem in their quest to find Daniel's father who is somehow connected with the "portals" that make time travel possible. Bombs falling everywhere. They become guardians of an orphan girl. Daniel's mother dies. While betrothed, Shale longs to be married but events keep happening that prevent even the planning of a wedding. Daniel comes to understand his calling-one of 144,000 witnesses who will die by martyrdom! Perhaps we will find in the next in the series how that works out for Shale? Fast-paced action-a 21st-century man chariot racing?-keeps the reader engaged from the first page.Writing craft-Author, Roberts, has done her homework. Amazon Review
