These products are formulated to work in both standard and HE machines using the same dosage directions. Our HE formulated laundry detergents can be used in all home washing machines and laundromats. When you see a blue oval symbol with "HE" in the lower right front of the package you will know that it can be used in your HE machine. If the HE symbol is not on the package, it should not be used in HE machines. We hope this helps!

A: Thank you for reaching out regarding our Free & Clear Laundry Detergent Packs. Our Laundry Packs pouches are made from virgin #2 high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic. These can be recycled along with other plastic films. Most grocery stores will have a bin for recycling plastic bags and our plastic pouches can be added to that. We recently make the pouches recyclable, which was an improvement we were very excited about. Previously, the pouches were made with layers of multiple types of plastic that cannot be recycled together. However, we know our work is not done yet. We are working on ways to eliminate the use of virgin petroleum from this pouch and from all of our packaging components. We hope this helps!
