Q: does these diapers have the wetness indicator?
A: Thanks for asking about our Medium Stage Diapers. Usually, diapers that contain a wetness indicator use a chemical called bromophenol blue. Bromophenol blue is a pH indicator, which changes color depending on the surrounding acidity or alkalinity. We do not use these chemicals in our free & clear diapers. However, I can pass along the interest in offering a wetness indicator in our diapers to our team and the baby care Brand Manager. Inside the Seventh Generation diapers are tiny absorbent beads that expand as they absorb moisture. Once the child has peed, those beads will fill and the diaper will feel fuller than before. When a diaper is still dry, you should be able to easily pinch the material but when it gets wet and begins to fill, it will be less easy to pinch. We hope that this information is helpful. Please let us know if I can be of additional assistance.
