My friend insisted on spraying Surfer Girl in my hair and I couldn’t believe how well it worked! I have very fine hair and have tried a bunch of volumizers with no success. So glad to find Surfer Girl. My fine hair looks good and stayed that well all day

It did smell more like hairspray then the “surfer coconut” vibe I was expecting. My curls did hold all night which was nice but my hair did feel stiff

It is kind of a thicker type of powder spray so if you have thin hair I wouldn't use a lot, but if you blow dry it after you spray it that helps it not leave a white film.

It doesn’t have enough hold for me curling and it holding curl. I use it for braiding my hair. It gives it enough grab that I don’t have a ton of stray hairs. It also allows me to spread the braid out and it holds more shape.

So far it hasn’t clogged up like a lot of my texture sprays will. It does give volume and hold but it is super hard to comb through after and leaves some residue feel after brushing, so I have to wash my hair end of the day or it itches

It's hard to style, and it falls flat after a couple of hours. Surfer Girl gave me some volume and held up nicely during the day. I didn't have an issue with the way my hair felt when using this product. After all, it is a texturizer. I concentrated the spray more at the roots but also tried all over, too. Overall, I really liked this product and will continue to use it for an effortless style. Love it.

You don’t really use it to like a hairspray but for more volume and separation in the hair. I have very little straight hair, and I use this after I curl it or braid it. It gives my hair fullness and my curls last a little longer! The product actually smells good too

The hold is also really great as it lasts several days in my hair. Only downside is that I don't love the residue it leaves in my hair and the way it feels.
