The Seymour Duncan Slug Rail Pickup delivers the huge, aggressive metal tone crave. With fat lows, thick, boosted mids and screaming highs, this ultrahigh-output humbucker is built for downtuned progressive and death metal playing. The Slug's custom-wound coil and Alnico 5 magnets produce a massive output, while its wider string spacing ensures chords and riffs sound tight and defined. The overwound coil and Alnico 5 magnets produce fat lows that add body to sound, while the boosted mids cut through the mix. Add sizzling highs and 've got a recipe for the huge, aggressive metal tone that stands out in a live mix or recording.
