I really do hope this was just an “off” batch and I certainly don’t want to alarm anyone, but there were feathers in every single bite of my meal. I’ve plucked feathers off fresh duck breasts before while preparing them, the presence of them don’t bother me in and of itself. However, I’ve never experienced feathers in pre-grounded meat before... it’s very off putting and I won’t buy this brand again.

Weight is inconsistent. I cook (what I think to be) 4lbs of this every two days, each time the portion sizes ( & overall quantity) come out different. Probably not a deal breaker for most. But for those of us counting calories, keeping track of macros, & overall trying to make the most of their efforts/gains this ain’t it. I only buy this in bulk because the store near me gives me coupons for them, as the “sell/use by” date is more often than not, a day or two away from purchase date.

We buy this item on a regular basis. It tastes great. Unlike other ground turkey brands, there is no added spices such as rosemary extract.
