Arrived with big yellow streaks of glue scattered around the rug. Now I have to figure out how to return this huge 8x10 rug & I’m so upset. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

3x5 Ivory I got this rug in hopes that it was a true ivory white color unlike the other rugs I got from Safavieh that claim to be ivory but are beige. This rug is a true ivory/white color. In some lighting it has a slight cream color in areas. It is very plush with a mixture if yarn and shiny threads. A couple of requirements I wanted for a rug was being able to vacuum it and open a door over it. I use a dyson vacuum and it takes some extra effort and push to vaccum it regularly. With the handheld attachment it works easier. And a standard door was able to open over it better than 2 in + pile rugs. I had fluffy it up with my hands after opening the package and noticed a waxy feeling on my hands after this. I’m not sure if the waxy feel is due to the type of yarn being used but I never had this issue with my other two Safavieh rugs and worried it may attract more dust and hair to stick to it. Due to this and the SLIGHT difficulty to vacuum it, I may have to return. But this rug is great if youre going for a minimalistic look with neutral tone decor!
