Q: why is there a prop65 warning?

submitted by manny - 5 months ago
  • A: We're required by law in the State of California to include the Prop 65 Warning. We include the warning in abundance of caution and to comply with this California warning mandate. The mere presence of even one of over 900 chemicals requires this warning. Where it's not feasible to test every single chemical, we're including the label with all our products. Please rest assured that all Shark Clean products comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Q: I know this says it works up to a larger sq ft. But would it be okay to be used in a smaller room?

submitted by Jade - 4 months ago
  • A: This air purifier is designed for rooms up to 1,200 sq. ft, but it can also be used in smaller rooms. To maximize the air purifier's filter life and performance, we recommend leaving the unit in AUTO mode. After 100% clean air status is achieved for 10 minutes in AUTO mode, the air purifier will enter ECO mode and further optimize the filter life.

Q: Air purifier doesn’t leave 100 % pretty sure it’s not working. Defeating having a child with allergies and nothing.

submitted by Morgan S - 4 months ago
  • A: f your air quality never reaches 100%, make sure that the filter is properly installed without its original plastic packaging. If the filter is properly installed, then it may need replacement. Note that the filter generally requires replacement every 6–12 months, but if a high amount of particulate matter is regularly present in your air, you may need to replace the filter more often. Activities like smoking, burning candles, running a humidifier, opening windows, and cooking (among other things) can add more pollutants to your air. Make sure to survey your environment and remove anything that could be causing low air quality.
