Apparently, african black soap helps w/ discoloration & improves the tone of your skin so i’m excited to see how long it’ll take before I start seeing results. I probably won’t use it on my face & only my body because i’m not sure how harsh it’ll be on my face compared to my skin. But so far i’ve been using it & i’ve had 0 problems! I’ll try to come back & update this when I finish the bar.

There is no discernible scent. The only issue I have is with the packaging. There is an opening in front of the box that leaves the bar exposed and I don’t find that to be sanitary.

I don’t like feeling as if I still have product on my skin after I wash so this is great for removing the day from your body and/or face. If you don’t like feeling dry, you might want to skip this soap or use a moisturizing body wash afterwards. For me, this is perfect. It smells amazing too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ingredients in this soap is very simple and all that the ingredients do is moisturize and hydrate your skin on top of the very beneficial cleansing that it provides. This is a very, very thick bar of soap. It has to be at least 2 in thick so it can last you a while. I like to use it on an exfoliating pad and alone but you have to be careful when you get the suds worked up because the soap can be slippery and it's already a thick bar so if you drop it on your toe it hurts

When I use this to wash my face it feels so soft, moisturized and plump after. My face feels so hydrated so I don’t truly need to apply lotion or anything on it after because it brings the hydration back into my skin. It also does a great job removing my makeup as well and doesn’t leave traces of makeup behind. It has great lather and a little goes a long way. It also is a very big block of black soap and paired with the fact that a little goes a long way, this is definitely long lasting whether you use it for just your face or full body. I also have very acne prone skin and I haven’t noticed my skin breaking out or my pores getting large and clogged so that’s also a plus. I haven’t noticed the unevenness in color of my skin looking too different after using this as far as dark spots go. My dark spots don’t look much different or any better but the overall feel of my skin still feels good, moisturized and clean.
