A: Shea Moisture is amazing if you have curly or kinky hair. It is a Black hair brand. You’ll notice reviews from White customers who felt it made their hair oily. You know your hair and whether it needs extra moisture. This brand is amazing for curly and kinky hair, especially if it tends to be more dry or frizzy.

Q: Is this safe for use on kids/babies?

A: We suggest using our Baby Dove products on infants, as they are designed to provide the necessary mildness and moisture replenishment for the specific needs of baby’s delicate skin. I already use the coconut and hibiscus, shampoo, conditioner, kids detangler and shine and hold. Love the results using my Denman brush and then swirling my fingers through my hair but adding this to my routine after the shower first nails the defined curls adding great shine and neutralizes frizz. Bravo. My hair is short. So it only takes one squirt to style. This stuff is fire!

This, however, was not the case with Shea Moisture smooth and shine oil! It was lightweight, made my hair feel incredibly smooth, and smelled amazing. I would absolutely recommend trying this product.

I like to put it on my hair while it’s still damp, so that when I blow dry it it looks amazing. Also the scent is really lovely. My bf loves to smell my hair when I put it in. It’s just as the description implies, a floral coconut scent, that is sweet and feminine.

The oil is indeed lightweight, doesn't make my hair heavy and greasy like others I have used. It helps with detailing which is a huge bonus for me.
