Q: What is the color of the brown? Reviews online and pictures show a big variance. Some are the lighter wood tone and others are a darker medium brown.

This is a really cute nightstand. I painted the knobs with rub n buff. I knocked off one star because it needs another coat of black paint to make it a true black. I wish it was darker.
