A: Probably not. My wooden shelves are 7/8-inch thick and it is a tight fit.

I am very pleased with these shelf dividers. The wooden shelves in my closet are 7/8 of an inch thick, so it was a very tight fit but it is good that, once in place, they don't move easily. They helped me restore some law and order in my unruly closet in just under 20 minutes, including unpacking the dividers. I wish the dividers were about an inch higher, but they definitelty are a great organizing tool for sweaters. No more tumbling piles or pawing through them. Nice light gray color. Highly recommend.

These are perfect for my open shelves. My closet has angled ceiling and these are short enough to fit. They fit over the metal shelves too. I have had plastic ones that broke easily but these are metal with cloth. Love them

Make sure to see if this style fits your shelves first. It’s not that long of a divider and also it won’t really work on those metal wire shelves. It really needs like a wood shelf to slide through easily. The gray fabric material is nice so it’s alternative to the other non fabric ones I’ve seen.

These aren’t as tall as I imagined they’d be. There’s also nothing to tighten the clip to the shelf so unless it’s the exact depth of your shelf, these don’t stand up straight or stay taut. I was happy to see the frame is metal instead of plastic, but these did not work for me.

My shelf is 1" thick so these don't really fit, but I can wedge it on there enough to be semi-funcitonal. These would be best for a shelf ~3/4" thick.

I loved these at first to keep my clothes piled on high closet shelves from leaning and toppling and making a huge mess. They fit the space, were sturdy and kept things neat for a while. But now the clothing gets caught and I end up needing to pull the whole thing off the shelf at least once a week. It’s extremely frustrating because it’s a high shelf and these things will attract the tiniest bit of fabric and then be impossible to get them free. The price seemed good for several sets as a temporary arrangement but now I’m ready to throw them out and keep clothes in a bin under the bed.

These gave helped organize my linen closet and my clothes closet. They can expand to fit different shelf thicknesses. The thicker the shelf, the less sturdy the divider is.

Too small, like other reviewers this one is just not as big as I thought it would be and its a pretty tight fit for my standard shelves. I love the brightroom products and their quality, so its great for smaller shelves, maybe a linen closet but not my main closet

I have a Closet Maid wooden shelf and bar system in my closet and needed dividers to make storing clothes on the wide shelves more efficient. These little dividers are perfect. They fit the thickness of the shelves perfectly and are just the right height for shorter shelves. I think I'll use the hooks to hang up outfits the night before so I'm ready to go in the morning. I only wish they were available in different heights so I could buy them for my other shelves.

Really had high hopes for these, I thought they’d be so useful for getting my closet shelving more organized. However 1) they did not fit a single shelf in my entire house!! 2) they’re super short, which isn’t great if you’re trying to separate towels or sweaters or anything bulky. Definitely make sure these will fit your shelving - the metal bar is super strong so it has no give if you’re trying to use it for a thicker shelf. If they switched up the design to account for thicker shelves and made them a little taller I’d probably buy 10! Great idea.

These could be a bit sturdier. A little flimsy for me being used on my shelf in my closet. They slide around easy too, not much of a secure fit. This could be my shelf too but I’m not sure. They get the job done but I might look into others.
