SideTrak Swivel Pro Touch | Touchscreen Ultra Slim Attachable Portable Monitor for Laptop

It is a magnetic monitor that you can attach to the back of your laptop, that is very HD and has a touch screen. The touch screen is phenomenal, as someone who frequently switches between using my mouse and the touch screen for selecting and scrolling items, it was extremely useful to be able to do so on the second monitor as well. I also liked using it, not in magnet mode, but in kickstand mode. When I had it attached to the back of my laptop, the monitor was never at the ideal angle, so I rarely ever used this as an attached monitor. I tended to just stand it up next to my laptop, as opposed to using the magnet feature. That is realistically my only complaint. This monitor is a bit pricey, considering you can find similar products for less than half the price. However, this did what I needed it to do, was touch screen, and has a beautiful display, I could not ask for more.

The only change I made was to set the display zoom to 125% because I needed the main program I use on it had smaller text. The resolution is still nice and clear. I have not had to travel yet, but it will be a permanent extra monitor when I do. I would highly recommend this monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this product on my amazon fire tablet. It fits fine. The problems I had were the 3rd party cable were giving a moisture in the port error. I could connect any other C cable and it was fine. I did the trouble shooting steps and was not able to get this error to cease. I will keep working on this. The C ports are kind of in the way when trying to add the swivel. The cables seemed short and bulky to have a smooth set. I was able to mirror it to my PC monitor and it worked great. Very nice product for that.

I was gifted this screen from the company. The only reason it is getting 4 stars and not 5 is because the touch screen feature doesn't work with my Macbook Air. Other than that, the resolution is slightly different than my laptop monitor, but I don't even notice it anymore. I love that it attaches to my laptop and can folded over neatly when I close my computer for the night. I am seriously considering getting a second one for the 3-screen set up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of the monitor is superb. It is very lightweight and compact for easy travel. It was neatly packed and was very easy to install. However, the video link for the install instructions didn’t work. The link took me to a YouTube video introducing the product. I was very impressed by the vibrant colors of the monitor display. I owned two portable monitors from a different company, and they always sagged when I attached them via the magnets. This monitor does not have that issue. Detailed instructions are provided that show how to properly attach the monitor, and once attached, it stays tight to the computer screen without sagging, which is very impressive. I like the fact that it includes a power adapter, cleaning cloth, two different lengths of cords, an extra magnetic plate, and a tool to adjust the plates, so you don’t have to buy an additional item to make two sidekicks work. Overall, this monitor deserves 5 out of 5 stars. Great quality, construction, and performance!

This is my second swivel Pro 13.3" First needed replaced after it fell a few times - one too many off the laptop. Screen was damaged. It seems the magnet needs a bit more strength to hold the screen when it is angled forward putting more strain on the magnetic connection. The screen works well and is easy to setup. Windows 11 has had no issues making an easy use of the screen. I would suggest in future design changes to change the way the cables attach to the screen. Either some cable guides along the bottom of the screen to preven hanging wires or a different location for the connections, so they are not extending out the side for getting caught by people walking past. I use a tripod for the laptop as I travel and much of the work is on cruise ships. The SideTrak is connected to the right side of the laptop and unsupported.

The screen was easy to set up. I like that it is touch screen. It is light weight and great for when I travel. Need to use the kickstand to keep the monitor from sliding.

It allows me to have a reference document open to one side while using the main screen to produce work while working on the road or at a client. I love the ability to rotate the screen as this allows me to have a conversation with a client that is face to face while looking at a presentation. Thank you!

I recently got the Swivel Pro Touch FHD 13.3". This is my fourth SideTrak. My first one, like this one, attached to my laptop. However, it was difficult to detach/attach. Unlike, this one where it attaches with a very strong magnet. In between the two that attach, I have two stand alone SideTraks. I like these very much, but it is difficult to travel with them as they are quite bulky when moving all of them together, The Swivel Pro Touch is very easy to travel with as it can just stay attached to to computer. With the swivel screen it is much easier to share my screen when working in a group. The only disappointment with the Swivel Pro is that the cables that came with it are USB-C (Swivel Pro) to USB. I no longer have USB ports on my computer. I was able to use the cable from my other stand alone SideTrak. I highly recommend any of the SideTrak products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been an Sidetrak Slide user for many years now and have always loved it. I got the Swivel Pro Touch several days ago and I have to say I like it more than the original. I did not think I would use the touch feature as I routinely use a travel mouse with my laptop, but I found myself utilizing it more than I thought. The screen is responsive, and the quality is great. I do wish the mounting plate was not so thick as it now interferes with my original Sidetrak slide and now renders it useless because it will not mount to the laptop. Had I checked this prior to installation, I would not have attached the Swivel Pro Touch to the laptop, but utilized the stand and used it as a standalone monitor in order to have three screens. However, during a meeting, I was able to duplicate my screen and swivel the screen around a little easier than with the original slide. I duplicated my laptop screen and this allowed the other participant to scroll through the presentation on the Pro Touch and point out information that I could then see on my laptop screen. This was something that was never possible on the Slide. Detaching the Pro Touch, plugging in the longer cord, using the kickstand, and allowing the other participant to use it was a much better option! This worked great for collaboration and there was no need to have someone breathing down your neck looking at the work on your laptop. I could see where this would be a great opportunity to have the stylus. I think having the pen included would be beneficial. I recently used the longer cord to use the monitor as a tablet and found it to be a little cumbersome. Although the advertising on the website shows it can used in this fashion, I do not really see an appropriate use for this. Maybe if I had purchased the stylus, then it would have changed my mind. Other than wishing I could use it simultaneously with my Sidetrak Slide, the Sidetrak Swivel Pro Touch is a great product and I am glad I decided to get it!

I take it with me whenever I need to work outside of my office from working at the dealership while my car is getting an oil change to work travel to working outside on my patio. It's extremely light and compact adding no bulk to my laptop bag. The set up is super simple and takes zero effort, as soon as you plug in you are up and running immediately. I also love that I can duplicate the screen when planning trips woth the family so we can sit around the table and all see the same thing. I do have the previous non touch screen model, but highly recommend the touch screen version for its convenience if you're going to spend the money anyway.
