so hard to switch out the different chalks into the holder.

It's great chalk but as little ones will get this on clothing it does not wash out. Something we should have checked before hand but also just making it washable to begin with would have been nice.

This chalk stains everything it touches! Even the sidewalk. It destroys any clothes it touches. Something is wrong with the pigment.

I do appreciate kits that come with chalk holders, since there's less cleanup involved and it's safer overall. However, the design of these holders made the drawing process quite inconvenient and fairly dangerous for my children. My 6-year-old merely put the chalk halfway through the holder, but when he tried to release it, the outer chunk broke off, leaving the inside stuck. We had the whole family try to pull it out, but the chalk stayed stuck, even after we moved the outer layer. If the rest of us hadn't assisted him, my child could have been severely hurt. Furthermore, there appeared to be no black chalk. Though it is usually absent in the majority of chalk kits due to its materials' scarcity, it was disappointing to find that an essential color was unincluded in a 45 piece chalk kit. My children had to resort to using grey, which they complained about the muddiness of.

This chalk stained my kids clothes and out patio. Definitely do not recommend. Only nice thing are the holders

The chalk is so hard to get into the holders. The chalk barely shows up on the sidewalk.

If I could give this zero stars I would. This chalk doesn't stay on the ground at all but transfers very easily to clothes, body, etc. huge mess and frustrating for the kids because it disappears so easily.

Stains do not come out, tried multiple stain sprays and bleach on the white clothing. Nothing worked. It ruined my children’s outfits including my son’s baseball uniform.

Ok, my kid is ALWAYS asking me to play chalks with him... and I cannot stand the chalk feeling on my hands. It's my own version of.... so basically it makes my skin crawl. This set has little holders so you don't have to touch the chalk, and I cannot express how much gratefulness I have for them.

Great chalk set. Love the amount of chalk and different colors but don’t really care for the chalk holder things. It’s very hard to put the chalk in and get out. Me and my 4 year old daughter did just fine without it. No need for it. All in all great set and awesome price.

My daughter loved all the vibrant color choices. I like that the chalk came to a nice fine point. Everything fits conveniently and easily into the carry case. It also comes with chalk holders, shown in the picture. Simply slide the chalk into the case, pull the clamp forward to keep the piece of chalk in place. My daughter loves these because they keep her hands from getting too messy! These cases are easier to use than others. Overall nice set of chalk!
