Description
With an innovative design geared toward preventing entrapment, the Freedom Click Extendable Bed Rail from Signature Life is one of the only bed rails approved for use on both regular and adjustable platform beds. Supporting weights up to 300 pounds, the bed rail for seniors extends in length from 23 to 30 inches to prevent nighttime falls out of bed and and can also be used as a stand assist to protect against falls while transferring to and from a walker, wheelchair, or bedside commode. Caregivers will love the easy-to-remove safety handle when needing to change the linens, make the bed, or transfer a loved one from bed. To install the bed assist bar, slide the base underneath the mattress. For regular beds, attach the bed railing with the included safety strap. For installation on adjustable base beds, use the provided hardware to attach the bed rail to the base of the bed. The Freedom Click Bed Rail is perfect for elderly seniors who are experiencing a lack of mobility, a fear of falling, or who need assistance while recovering from injury or surgery.

Been looking for this product for our adjustable bed to keep my wife in bed. I am well accustomed to following direction to assemble things. But, I found your direction confusing at first because you continue the Step numbers into the standard bed instructions.

Its expandable for all size beds. It's heavy duty. We tried three other bed rails and they were so flimsy. Best of all it works. My mom can't figure out how to release so she stays put.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very happy with the Freedom Click Extendable Bed Rail I received. I like that I can extend it to be able to cover the length of my body. As a kid I remember being on the top bunk with a flimsy bed rail. This rail is sturdy and kind of antique looking. This will come in handy for my Night Terrors where I tend to swing my arms and legs wildly. I’m sure to stay on my half of the bed at night now!

It’s just easier to make the adjustments on the bed the way it sits so it feel sturdier and tighter fitted. Love the design and the pockets on the side. Perfect for remotes and a water cup. My nana actually puts her word puzzle in there if she cannot sleep. Feels sturdy to lean on and no plastic smell right next to the bed like another brand we tried before. Pricey but worth every penny.
Best support for getting in & out of bed.

The super strong bar helps my dad grab Hold and transfer in and out of bed so much easier. Has a super strong grip. Love the pouch and cup holder that holds onto needed things from him. This is just what he needed to get in and out. Without this he struggled to sit up or lay down. This is built extremely well. We absolutely love this. So easy to set up. Easy to unattached and reattach the bar. This makes life simpler for us and much safer!

This bed rail was easy to install, and has easy to follow instructions.

But this rail was easy to use and really helped me get in and out of bed. I loved the cup holder on the side!added bonus for sure.

Its steel construction gives the safety rail stability when getting in and out of bed. It extends from 23 inches to 30 inches just by pressing a button. It came with a really nice sturdy pouch for storage. The rail has a dark bronze finish which gave it a better look than usual medical equipment. It was easy to install the bed rail beneath the mattress securing it to the bed frame according to directions. There is some assembly required but good directions are provided. The rail height is about 20 inches. It is made to support someone up to 300 pounds. Both my husband and myself are smaller light weight people so I really could not attest to that, but I think this is great to have when an illness occurs.

It’s fairly simple to install right out the box, although it is a bit heavy and may require an additional persons help. I love that’s it’s adjustable to your liking and can extend in length from 23-30 inches. It includes a leather pouch and cup holder for added convenience. It’s a heavy duty bedrail and perfect for anyone who needs the extra support. 100 percent recommend!
