A: At this time I cannot answer this specific question. All of our product are tested and adhere to the strict requirements for California Prop 65 and are not harmful. Occasionally solid wood products do have some smell from the wood stain.

after owning this dresser for 10 months, i am already replacing it. the drawer depth is awful. they barely pull out far enough. the dowels managing the sliding are shabby and easily lost. i was a pretty gentle user and randomly, one of the handle areas had a large crack. just an awful piece of furniture for the price point. avoid at all costs.

This dresser came with the absolute worst smell, our family immediately got headaches and I was super nauseous. We couldn’t even complete putting the piece together. We had to move it outside and air out the house. Not a product I would want around my family at all.

Too time consuming to build. It took 3 solid hours to build. The worst part of this product was the strong chemical smell it gave off. It was removed from the room it was originally placed in and it left the room smelling of chemicals.

There was a horrible chemical smell with this product. We started to put it together and didn't finish and went to bed. The dresser was in her room, and she had to remove the dresser parts in the middle of the night, she was having a hard time breathing. The next day, it was so bad the smell traveled upstairs and I took all the parts and pieces back to the store and returned it. The store was an easy return and took everything back, not issues, but the product is laced with awful chemicals! Do NOT buy this!

This item is attractive and somewhat functional but one of the drawers came apart when following directions and one of the pieces chipped in the process of assembly. If this happens when putting it together, I only wonder how long of a life it will have in general. This set of drawers is also much more difficult than a product from a certain Scandinavian furniture competitor and requires the owner to have a hammer and screwdriver in order to assemble. Not for beginners. Plus there is an odor that doesn’t go away for a couple of days. It’s woody but not pleasant like pine or cedar. If I knew what it was going to be like I would have reconsidered.

Very cute and simple dresser which mostly fits my needs, but assembly was disrupted because I was shipped the product without all of the necessary parts (one of the tracks that was sent was the incorrect piece, so one of my drawers is not functional). I left off another star because of the customer service response that I got regarding my issue. Instead of offering to replace the missing/incorrect piece, the representative over the phone told me to either return the unpacked and half assembled dresser for a refund or order another 100 lbs dresser, get the piece I need, replace that with my original incorrect piece, ship the second dresser back, and wait for a refund. How silly.

Definitely listen to the other reviews. It does look nice BUT it’s a piece of junk. Once completely assembled the drawers don’t slide in nicely. it is such a tight fit and sooo stiff that the drawers will quickly begin to fall apart from having to pull so hard to open them. It was missing some hardware and some of the hardware was defective. Like the screw being too small for the holes. Also the chemical smell is VERY strong. And hasn’t come out yet after airing it out for a week and putting dryer sheets in all the drawers. Be ready to spend about 3 hours to assemble this thing. Not having power tools is REALLY rough. Several parts do not have pre drilled holes. OVERALL, DO NOT BUY! Bad smell Low Quality Missing hardware Hard to assemble Drawers don’t slide well BUT it does look nice

This dresser was a horrible purchase and I’m very disappointed that Target would even sell furniture that contains harmful chemicals as this one. We assembled this dresser 2 months ago and it still smells so strong that it affects my breathing. We purchased this for my daughter’s nursery and now all of her clothing that we stored in it smells like this awful chemical. I definitely would NOT purchase anything from this company. Especially if you plan on using it for a child or your unborn baby’s nursery your stuff stored inside will be ruined.

Proposition 65 is a California Law that requires businesses to provide a “clear and visible” warning” that chemicals in their product contain substances knowing to cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm, in the State of California.
