I had been using these wipes and other Simple products since 2012 and they were great for my sensitive skin. That is, until recently. I've been having bad reactions where it causes my skin to turn blotchy red and burn for up to an hour. The photo of my knee is a reaction that happed from *resting* (in other words, not even rubbing or wiping) a used wipe on my knee while sitting down for a *few* minutes. Reading other reviews online, it sounds like other people have been experiencing the same issue ever since Simple changed to a new compostable formula. I don't know what chemical(s) they added, but it is the opposite of "kind to skin" now. They also have a chemical smell now, that reminds me of nail polish remover. I really wish they would go back to the original formula :(

I bought these for convenience. I don’t wear make up often but it does work well at removing. I get a super oily sensitive face and I hate washing my face, I’m lazy lol. These do not leave your face feeling sticky or gross. I don’t like how you don’t get very many for the price but it’s semi worth it for the quality of product.

Like others, I’ve used these wipes for years and LOVED them. Just opened my new package and whatever changed in the ingredients/formula is awful. My eyes are burning, face is stinging. Only used two wipes and had to throw the package away.

I kept getting a stye in my eye... i changed my eyeliner and mascara and it didnt make a difference. Come to find out it was these wipes! Did you change the ingredients because I never had a problem before? I see the second ingredient listed is a 'cosmetic oil'??

I use these on days I wear makeup. After attempting to remove my make up in the shower with my regular facial cleanser, I usually come out looking like a racoon. I can still feel my mascara on my lashes as well. I use these and bam, all my mascara, any leftover foundation, eyeshadow, and racoon eyes are gone. My skin feels cool and refreshed afterwards too.

I am having an allergic reaction to the simple makeup wipes. I scanned them before buying and they were excellent in my yucca app. However, when I started using them mt fave itched and burned and felt like a chemical burn. My skin became dry and wrinkly. I was beet red, splotchy, and itching so bad from the wipes. I had to throw them out.

I bought these because my favorite makeup artist uses them and loves them. Excited to try them, they did remove my makeup, however, they left my face red and irritated and the smell is disgusting. I immediately went and washed my face with my liquid face cleanser and washed my hands.

I've used these for years and they have been my favorite, until they turned into these compostable wipes. The wipes are now rough and don't take off makeup as well as they did previously. I'm very disappointed that the compostable wipes are no longer just an option, but the onlh thing you sell. Unfortunately I am looking for a replacement to this product.

I’ve used your makeup wipes for years and had no problems! Every other brand always makes me break out or causes redness; yours never did… until now. I just used one and it gave me a full blown reaction! My face is burning, sensitive to touch, and SO red. It stung so much, I had to wash my face immediately. I’m still red/patchy and my face is hot.

I used to absolutely love these wipes, I have very sensitive skin and they were some of the only ones that didn’t irritate it. They always left my skin feeling amazing. However now that they’ve changed them, they irritate my skin leaving it tingly and slightly red. I’m extremely disappointed as now I will have to waste money going through trial and error to find another brand that doesn’t irritate my skin :(
