I like the clean design but unfortunately the piece that is welded on to hold the cross bar popped off while I was putting 3 short dresses on. This will be going back and I'll go back to my research. The construction is clearly more for aesthestic over function.

The single shelf garment rack in black metal with natural wood accents by bright room is an excellent standalone garment rack. I am using this in my husband‘s office to hang some office clothing and it works extremely well. It’s sturdier than most standalone clothing racks and I love that it does not have wheels. The shelf is an extra bonus and really helps stabilize the unit. I currently have 14 men’s shirts and 12 pairs of men’s dress slacks hanging on this rack and it is just as sturdy as ever. I highly recommend this rack if you’re looking for something better than typical rolling clothing, I have paired with the natural wood hangers and it’s a really elevated look. this item was extremely easy to put together, and the directions were great. Everything comes extremely well packaged in a minimalist box. Everything was separated with plastic and cardboard and individually labeled. As you can see in the pictures and even notate which side of the rods and parts should be facing outward, which makes a huge difference in putting this together correctly . I had absolutely no issues..

I bought this for an emergency as my top shelf on one side of my closet came down on my head, along with the rod in my apartment. I guess I had too much stuff on the shelf. I am not mechanically inclined so this was a challenge for me. I temporarily lost one of the screws after I had assembled it and found it after I started hanging clothes on the top rack. Somehow I apparently messed up the “X” bar because I couldn’t find the extra holes. It appears a bit unstable at this point because the screws are not tightened all the way. I will get someone more adept at putting things together to get it assembled correctly, and I think it won’t be wobbly, and that back “X” bar will work when somebody else assembles it correctly Overall, I like the concept and think this will hold extra clothes that don’t quite fit in my long but narrow closet. May leave it free-standing in the bedroom or try to put it on one side of my narrow closet. This has some potential, and I appreciate all of the pictures that others have submitted, making me feel better about purchasing this rack.

Got 2 because I don’t have a closet! So far it’s super cute & very sturdy. Assembly was easy using an impact- if you can avoid messing up the X-bar holes lol. I did it twice even though I knew I did it the first time 🤦🏽♀️ Love it otherwise!
