As a Grammie, I no ought this for my 8 month old grandchild. She loves the noise the corn makes when we push the top. She is learning how to push it down. She laughs at the sound.

He twisted the top ( and pushed down on the sun to make the corn turn and the kernels pop. One fast push down gets a lot of spins; one slow push from a kid will get 2-3 turns per push. The colors are pleasant and bright. It’s instant gratification for the kiddos: you push the sun, and it makes noise and turns— the kids can associate their actions with movement. The item is a nice size for kids- estimating a base diameter of 6-7 inches and a height of maybe 8 in. I received this product free in exchange for my honest review.

Bought this for both my grandsons to play with. I wasn't sure how they would react to the noise, but they absolutely loved it!! The 2 year old entertains the 9 month old with it for hours at a time. I went out on a limb to purchase it, and after hearing the laughter of my babies I'm thankful I did.
