It’s super wiggly. Like dangerously wiggly in the stepping stool way. Doesn’t fold down much smaller than it is all the way put up. Dont recommend for the price.

We have had ours four two years and love it. Sadly our tray latch broke when it fell over when folded up and now we can’t use it anymore. We haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone to help us replace the tray either. The product is great, the customer service not so much.

Not Safe for babies sitting posture

My baby had great posture at 6 months. At 14 months eating 3 meals and two snacks a day, she spends a decent amount of time in her high chair. The seat is not at a 90 degree angle or has a foot rest. I DO NOT recommend this product because it’s not safe for babies posture.

Unsecured Seat Straps

My daughter is almost 10 months old and up until tonight I was fairly happy with this chair. We strapped her in like normal tonight and she ate her meal at the table with us. When she was done my husband removed her tray and thankfully moved to pick her up immediately. When he did the leg buckle of the harness detached completely into his hand. The harness is only secured to the seat by a stiff fabric lip. There is no mechanism to secure the harness to the chair. My daughter isn't a super wriggly baby but I guess just normal squirming was enough for it to slide through the plastic slot in the seat. I'm horrified thinking about what could have happened.

Great for our son but may not fit other babies

We got this almost three years ago as a baby shower gift. Our son is now almost 2 and a half years old and uses it to watch us prep/cook if he feels like it. For our family it was a really great fit and we received several comments from guests about how sturdy and well-suited it was for our child. I give this product 4-stars as we got a lot of use out of it and still do. Our son is rather skinny and fit fine in the seat from the start. I read in previous reviews that this high chair was too tight and not comfortable for other babies to sit in, and we noticed that possibility as soon as we received the high chair. Now that we are expecting another little one, we're curious to see if this high chair can still serve its purpose.

Great chair with minor inconveniences

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this for my 4 month old since he's on the bigger side and my mother needed help feeding him. Most chairs start at 6 months so I'm happy that this option existed. Everything is great from the sturdiness and ease of folding and putting off to the side. Two cons: - The attachable plastic cover on the tray has sharp edges and ended up cutting my baby's belly when we first used it. We had to sand the edges down, but other than that. The rest was great. - The harness clips are secure, but difficult to unlatch.

At first we loved it but now not so much

I put this on my registry because it could fold up for storage as well as convert into a learning tower/step stool. At first we liked the high chair, it was comfy and cute. My daughter never complained while sitting inside. The chair and cover itself was very easy to clean but the tray was horrible. The plastic top comes off to wash but the little lip around the middle always gathers food and it's a pain to clean. As for the step stool it was a very cute idea but the functionality of it is poor. The legs lay so wide that you can get the stool up to any surface such as a sink or plain counter top. It leaves them reaching a fair amount and is not practical to use at all. Overall we will be getting rid of it before the next baby comes

Deceptively hard to clean

This high chair is so cute and it folds up well, but now that my baby is learning to use spoons she is constantly getting puree all over the tray—well beyond the cover that snaps off. There are so many little nooks and crannies all over the chair, including the grooves that the cover snaps into. The last time I cleaned it I had to use a bamboo skewer. It is comfortable, though, and I love the little pad with the cloud because my kind of svelte baby tends to slouch to one side eventually with other seats.

Weirdly hard to clean

I was excited about having part of the tray come off for easier cleaning, but it only covers the top of the tray—my baby is learning to use a spoon and is constantly coating the inside edge of the tray with fruit puree, so we have to wash the whole thing every time anyway. I love the padding in the back though—super cute and helps keep my baby stable.

Get the Tripp trapp instead

I’m a first time mom. I did not know what exactly to look for in any product when making my registry. My baby is now 10 months old. I’ve learned a lot along the way. Read a lot of baby information that I wish I would have known beforehand. We’ve been using the high chair since my baby was about 4/5months. It was fine when it was just something to put him in while cooking dinner and giving him a few toys. But now that he is older and eating solids, I would never recommend this. There are too many nooks and crannies for food to get into. It’s not fun to clean when your baby is eating in there multiple times a day. He is not in an ideal seating position. There is not foot support and he can’t sit upright to 90 degrees. It was a gift, so I’m just waiting until I can use it as a step stool for my son. But in the meantime, it’s not worth it. I can’t keep using it knowing it’s not the best for my son to be eating in and it’s a pain to have to clean every time. Would not recommend. Glad I know what to look for and tell other first time moms what’s best.

We still use this every day after 3+ years! The convertible step stool part is amazing. It’s so sturdy. My son loves to stand on it and help in the kitchen. One of the few baby registry items we still use every day!

Baby pushes tray off

I hate this high chair. The baby can push the tray off, which is a major design flaw and leads to a lot of mess. I wish I had just gotten the Stokke chair.

Good with some cons/design flaws

3 out of 5 stars
SB - 2 years ago
Really liked this at first especially infant phase. It’s one of the tallest on the market so we were able to pull it next to our kitchen bar top and eat together as a family. But babies grow out of this quick —the chair part is very small and also there is no footrest so it’s not ergonomic for good eating posture (unlike stokke Tripp Trapp for example). The convertible stool is a nice feature because you don’t need to buy a separate product.

Some Pros Some Cons

3 out of 5 stars
KK's Mom - 2 years ago

Overall, the chair is okay. The step stool (and highchair itself) is a little bulky. The ability to fold is helpful in a small kitchen, and the "stepstool" set-up is an attractive feature. My biggest complaint (aside from overall bulkiness which may not be the easiest to avoid) is the material of the seat cover. Despite washing per the instructions, the outside layer of coating is peeling off. I will soon need to replace the entire chair. I fear that the peeling [plastic?] will be a hazard when my little one inevitably tries to eat the flaking coating. The chair is unusable without it because of holes in the plastic seat underneath. Not a bad chair, but I haven't used it nearly long enough to need a replacement and my bank account certainly is ready for that either.

In less than 7 months the recline broke. Grandson fell asleep in chair, went to recline amd was unable to lower the seat. It is now lopsided.

We were gifted this chair on our registry and we were so grateful. So far, we have loved this chair. Our 2.5 month old can be close by when I cook or when we eat at the table. Our 2-year-old uses the kitchen helper mode almost every day. If it’s in chair mode, he still climbs up and loves to sit higher up just to hang out in the kitchen. (He’s a skinny guy, so his legs fit fine.) It’s been in the highest position since assembly and it hasn’t had any issues falling down. I love the bib hook and the tray storage feature (just discovered it in a video). The box did not come with assembly instructions or instructions for use, but it’s available on YouTube. To disassemble the rail or the chair, you have to pull hard or step on the bottom, so it pulls out at the top. I tried to be gentle as not to break it, but that didn’t do anything. We have hit our feet on the legs a bunch of times, because the legs stick out far for stability. We haven’t used the tray feature yet, besides assembling it (so great to have the removable tray!). Over all, we love the chair so far!
