[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had great hopes for the Sklz Catapult. I thought it would be awesome for my nine year son to use for extra practice when he's at home just playing in the backyard. It was easy to assemble, but one of my first thoughts is that the ball holder was flimsy and would be easy to break. It was definitely disappointing when we actually turned it on. The baseball only went about 10 feet. When I tried to adjust it to throw harder, I turned it the wrong way and the knob on the adjuster came unscrewed and it came apart. My husband is having to take it apart and fix it. Nowhere in the instructions was there any warning that if you unscrewed it too far that it would come completely apart. I think it might be good for a younger kid that is just starting out, but for one that has been playing for several years, it would be way too easy. Not something that I would recommend to anyone over the age of maybe 5 years old.
Best yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is a little bit slow but it is the best one yet that we have found. We use these for days that I don’t have time to practice outside with my son due to work or other activities. That way he still able to get the field practice in that’s required, even if I’m not standing right there, able to help him.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free from Home Tester Club in exchange for my honest review. It's not the highest quality and doesn't launch baseballs very far but would be okay for younger kids to practice batting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a good product for what it’s intended for. The easy portability of it is a big plus especially for coaches having to haul heavy bats and balls to every practice and game this is lightweight so it’s not adding to the burden of gear. It is adjustable and does overall a good job with pitches. It can jam if you load it with too many balls but it’s an easy fix. The performance of the range and distance is amazing for such a small machine. It takes multiple power sources which is also a great benefit! I definitely recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this with my 8 and 9 year old nephews. Nowadays they just want to stay inside on their phones, well this was a game changer. I took them to the park and launched balls at them! They loved it! We then used it with the dog and he loved it too. We were at the park for hours! Couldn’t wait to use it again the next day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I played with this catapult with my 15 year old son, 11 year old nephew and 10 year old grandson. They did not like it! It did the have the throwing power that they were expecting! It did not throw out the ball very far and it without little power. It would be a nicer if it threw farther and harder!
This is a great way to practice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All three of my sons are in baseball and when the cold months start it is hard for them to go out hitting with each other. So this catapult ball thrower has been such a lifesaver. It pitches extremely well and is very easy for them to hit their balls. The machine is very easy to put together and easy to learn how to use. I love how portable it is. Highly recommend this for easy practicing for the upcoming baseball season.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sklz Catapult Soft Toss Pitching & Fielding Machine is great. I loved the fact that it is extremely lightweight and yet designed beautifully. The ease with which this machine can be used is a great plus point as it can be used with a few clicks or screws without the need of any additional tools. Also I like the power of the machine and the fact that it has an adjustable distance knob. Another plus point was the fact that it can be used either plugged into a power plus or using batteries. I am really satisfied with the performance of this machine and would recommend to others in my friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the SKLZ Catapult Soft Toss Machine mid November, so I decided to pull it out on Thanksgiving for the kids while we are hanging around before dinner. The machine throws balls like a pitcher so the kids can either bat the all or catch it with a mitt. We did catching. I bought 8 cheap mitts online, so it allowed the kids to each have a mitt. The machine allows you to choose how far the ball gets thrown, which is good because we wanted the kids to run and catch the ball, so they can all be a part of the game. It went well, but a hook inside the machine can snap out of place if you try make the distance too far. It is an easy fix which is to hook it back the metal loop. The kids loved it. So I definitely recommend. One thing is that I wish it had a higher ball capacity, as it kept the kids busy for almost two hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the SKLZ Catapult Soft Toss Machine in the mail to try. I have two Grandchildren in softball, and baseball, and they loved the way the Catapult toss machine works. It will definitely help them with their hitting, and catching. The SKLZ Catapult Soft Toss Machine is easy to use, and the children ages 13 & 9 use it by themselves and their teams.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kids were so excited when we received this to review. It looked like it would be a cool item to test but did not work. We had it all set up to play and we tried over and over to get it going but to no avail still did not work, very disappointing. There is no video to show because we weren't able to play with it and by then the kids just play without it.
