the fabric is great quality canvas cotton, it's a sturdy bench and the feet are also solid. I like it a lot and think it's well made. however one of the hinge plates inside was not screwed into the pilot holes correctly, it looks like the holes were too big or not made right so the hinge on the right side failed. without the hinge this thing closes crooked. I like it so much and didn't want to wait to replace so I'm keeping it and took the hinges off so it will close. that is an ok solution for me for what I need it for. hopefully mine is just a defect.

I’ve been wanting a storage bench for quite some time, but didn’t want one of the usual faux leather or solid color benches you normally see in retail stores. And PLEASE let me tell you this piece did not disappoint! I absolutely lovvvvve it! Looks exactly like the pics and has ample storage space! Oh and the hinge for opening and closing seems to be of great quality so I’m not worried about it loosening or wobbling any time soon! The padding for the “seat” portion is just perfect ~ not too firm and not too soft, but just right (I kinda’ feel like Goldilocks all of a sudden! Lol!) The beautifully crafted legs make it even more visually pleasing and that added elevation is definitely a bonus so you don’t feel like you’re going to have to struggle to get up from sitting too low #tallpeopleproblems! Haha! Definitely a win for me & I look forward to enjoying this with my friends & family for many years to come!
