A: Get some earplugs specifically designed for possible "unplanned" head and/or face submersion while swimming, especially if you're going to swim outdoors near Atlantic, Pacific, Gulf Coast shores.

Q: I notice that there are 3 colors for these Target Brand foam ear plugs (blue, brown, & purple). What is the difference between the three colors? Could it be size or density of plug??

Q: Other ear plugs are too large and uncomfortable for my ears. Are these smaller and narrower? Do they block out loud noises when I'm trying to sleep?

There is some sound blockage but not a lot. If these were any more expensive, I'd would say 100% no but they are cheap so you are getting what you paid for.

These are my go to earplugs when I’ll be sleeping next to or near someone who snores loudly. It doesn’t completely eliminate the noise, but it lessens it enough for a good nights sleep. They are not uncomfortable but it does take some getting used to.

Constantly buying these living in an apartment. I'm sensitive to noise and these really help. Obviously not perfect, but for the price, close enough! Some pain if you're sensitive and really push them in, but so far I haven't had much of any pain.

Ear plugs block out noise pretty good. Only complaint is, when I wake up my ear holes are soooo sore. A few times I have woken up early morning and pulled them out because my ear holes were throbbing. They need to make them smaller. Once I finish this box, I am using a different brand.

I've used a lot of ear plugs in my day. These are the most useless and ineffective ones I have ever tried. Yes, they are in my ear properly, but it hardly dampers any noise at all. I can hear the clicking typing noise of my phone as I write this review. On my bed, when I lay down with my arms at my side, I can scratch my sheet and hear the noise of that! Waste of money.

Not great. They do not fit in my ears properly because they do not get small enough when rolling them to shrink to put in the ear so they do not block as many decibels as the box says they do.

I have been using these for about two years now and they have clearly changed something with the foam itself. These used to be pretty dense foam and were slow to re-inflate after being squeezed which resulted in a nice seal. Every once in a while you would get a dud in the box that was soft and fast to re-inflate which had almost no effect on noise. As I have bought more boxes this year (I use them every night) I have noticed an increasing number of soft ones. My last purchase every single one of them was soft and useless. If I wanted soft ones I would quite literally buy the ones market as soft. Your wimpy new foam formula does NOTHING!!
