This stately upholstered platform bed frame features vertical channel tufting on the headboard with matching footboard that extends to the floor for a unique, polished focal piece for any bedroom. A: This Sloan Platform Bed is available in Faux Leather and in Linen-look Fabric options--you can select your preference when choosing bed color. Our linen-look upholstery is made from a polyester fabric that is more durable and easier to spot clean than natural linen. We hope this answers your question!

Q: Are the bars and legs in the middle of the bed that help support the slats removable? I'm wanting to put an adjustable base inside the bed frame, without the slats.

A: Yes, this Sloan bed can be assembled without the slats or middle legs. The footboard, headboard, and siderails with side legs will stand on their own if assembled correctly but cannot hold weight. We also cannot guarantee your adjustable base will fit inside the frame or be able to adjust; we recommend you compare measurements.

A: The Sloan Vertical Stitched Upholstered Platform Bed is upholstered in nontoxic, cruelty-free faux leather and meets standards set by the California Air Resources Board. It will not have a strong smell, but slight odors may linger from the packaging material 24-48 hours after unboxing. We recommend discarding all packaging promptly after assembly.

A: On the Sloan Vertical Stitched Upholstered Platform Bed there is 16" from the top of the slats to the bottom of the headboard. We recommend a 10 or 12" mattress.
