Q: Can the door be reversed n this cabinet to swing open to the other side?

A: The hinges are preset into the door so if you reversed the swing the louvers would be upside down. The second issue would be the magnetic latch as the mount for it is only on one side.
submitted byJoey - 7 years agoA: It looks like there is no reason you couldn't do that. The two hinges have 2 screws each, and the magnetic striker has 2 as well. The hinges are only counter-sunk into the door, so it should be no problem to flip it around.

Cheap and junky construction. Most cam bolts and cam locks for assembly would not align resulting in misaligned parts and seam gaps. Bottom rail and upper rail were not cut to fit resulting in gaps. Would not buy again.

Looks fine but poorly constructed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This piece looks fine when put together but some of the components are poorly constructed. For example, when the bolts are placed in cams and tightened a few of the cams stuck above the wood surface. These cams were located along less conspicuous surfaces in the back or inside but all there is to hide them are white stickers. Also one of the side panels came damaged even though it was surrounded by lots of styrofoam and packing material. There was no damage to the shipping container the cabinet came in which indicates it could have happened prior to shipping. We were able to fix it but this obviously shouldn’t have happened. All in all disappointed with how the product was made and recommend the manufacturer consider implementing higher quality standards in both the pieces as well as the final constructed piece.

I use the cabinet to store arts and craft supplies. It was fairly easy to put together. The cabinet has been great so far and seems very durable.

I was a little intimated when I opened the box and saw all the pieces that needed put together but after 2 hours I got it done. The material is heavy duty and not the flimsy particle board. The door on the cabinet also closes well and doesn't come open like some furniture pieces do. Some of the directions were a little confusing but trial and error I had it put together.

There were a few cam bolts that just would not lock tight and therefore didn't sit flush. Fortunately they were on the sides and didn't effect the overall appearance or function at all. Fit great in the corner and added lots of extra storage.

It's about 2 feet wide and 3 feet tall, and tucks nicely into the corner and out of the way. It's made of study material that has a real wood look and feel. The inside shelves are large and roomy, perfect for hiding all of our junk. It was wash to assemble. I bet this would work well in a bathroom or any other small space also. It's definitely a buy again item for me.

Easy to assemble but I’m very much disappointed. The cam locks don't actually lock onto the cam bolts so the pieces don't lock together. None of the camlocks fit. Several areas cracked when screws were added. Some holes not cut properly. This was not a well put together piece of furniture. I tried moving it to and some pieces fells off and the bottom came off. The door is not sized properly. There is a slight gap where the door closes. They didn’t include the bolt number 7 so I use my own bolts. Overall it's a nice cabinet.

It is beautiful and goes so well with my farmhouse decor in my home. It the perfect addition to the corner of my living room. This cabinet was a breeze to assemble and very sturdy when all put together. I've the bracket to secure it to the wall so I have no safety fears around my kids. I also love the heavy duty and high quality wood that was used to assemble this cabinet. I know its quality will within years of use in our home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this corner floor cabinet together by myself. It took me about 45 minutes as I got tripped up by the directions. I attached a piece incorrectly and had to take it apart and then back together again. This can be put together a lot quicker with two people for sure. I love the details on this cabinet and bring a mom of a 2yr old so appreciate the wall straps! I don’t like how the hardware sticks out and is not flush with the cabinet however, it is only noticeable from the back which no one will ever see. I also don’t like that the magnet used to close the cabinet is not that strong. Overall, I like this cabinet as it’s perfect for the odd corner in my living room that a chair would be too big for but space that you want utilized. There is a lot of detail from the cabinet door to the beveled edges and decorative legs. Overall, this is a really nice piece that adds to my living room decor!

Upon opening I grabbed the instructions, found my tools and put it together. The instructions were super simple to follow, all I needed was my drill and some muscle, it took me about 45 min to put together (with kid distractions). Sturdy material means it’s built to last! I put it in my living room to be a plant table and it looks fantastic. Ample storage and best of all it fits nicely in the corner of my living room, I’ve had several comments about how good it looks. I highly recommend.

My wife has a knack for buying the cheapest & worst quality furniture possible. LET ME TELL YOU, THIS ONE TAKES THE AWARD FOR WORST YET!!! I am a tradesman and quite skilled st putting things together, trust me when I say don’t buy it!!! This is the last piece of furniture we will ever buy from target again. On a scale of quality 0-10 with Swedish pit it together furniture being a 5, this is absolutely a ZERO!

A lot of people said they had trouble assembling but I did not. It only took me about 40 minutes from start to finish. It's pretty standard for any assemble-it-yourself furniture. Looks great in person, just like the picture. It's a good size and can hold more than I expected and feels very sturdy. I wouldn't sit on it but I am not nervous about it holding the things I will put in and on it.

I bought this for a command center corner that I created and I was perfect. It’s a great height, and my small kids backpacks fit perfectly with my purse inside. The assembly was pretty simple, and all of the pieces were well marked as well. It’s a great quality cabinet, especially for the price point!
