A: SmartyPants does not include Folate as folic acid in our SmartyPants products. Each of the multivitamin formulas include Folate as Methylfolate. The methylfolate is the metabolically active form that is identical in all respects to the methylfolate in our bodies. The Organic Prenatal Formula includes 600 mcg DFE of Folate (as L-methylfolate).

I could not remember to take my prenatals so switched to gummies because they turned into a treat I looked forward to. This most recent bottle I received is the new formula and tasted fishy at first. I miss the old flavor!!! I’ve gotten used to the new formula and don’t taste the fishiness anymore so maybe i will continue to use.

I have been buying this product for some time and this new formula is the worst tasting, fishy gummy EVER! It never tasted this bad before. I thought I could stand it but I have to return the other bottle I bought because they are starting to make me gag, and I'm not even pregnant!

If I could give 0 I would. PLEASE LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS: they taste HORRIBLE. The normal ones are fine and much easier to eat. These are not. Absolutely horrible. I couldn’t even finish one and almost threw up. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t leave reviews. This one I had to. 🤢

Unlike many reviews these ARE NOT disgusting, and I’m pretty picky with vitamins. They’re not like candy but also not overpowering with fishy taste. Other vitamins may taste more like candy but that’s because their ingredients are not as nutritious for you. The ingredients and forms of b12 and folate they put in here were exactly what I was looking for! Will be taking entire pregnancy. I do wish the bottle had enough for 1 full month but I can look past that.

Absolutely vile. The flavor was so bad, like fishy cooking grease. I recently used up a bottle of the non organic smarty pants prenatal and decided to try the organic one but will be returning. Why are they so different in taste from the originals???

I’ve tried the non organic vitamins, and I like them a lot better than these organic ones. These vitamins smell terrible, like fish oil, and the initial taste is just as bad. Planning to return if I can.

I liked the ingredient list but omg the taste is just not tolerable. I tried the OLLY ones and weren’t into those but these are worse. They are big so I had to eat them twice, 2 at a time. Twice the torture! The aftertaste is even worse. Would not recommend… i am not even in my first trimester and they still gross me out. I can’t imagine not throwing up from these during the first trimester

They are AWFUL. They taste like chalky vitamins and the flavor sticks in your mouth. Plus you have to take FOUR which is heinous when they taste so horrid. I got these because they don’t have fish oil but I guess I’ll continue my search.

I read the reviews but thought how bad could it be? I wanted a gummy prenatal so its easier to take, well these turned out to be harder to take because they taste SO terrible, its hard to even chew swallow, I tried a couple times but its torture every time. I think its the flax in there that gives it such a stale gross flavor. Definitely returning.

Having to choke back 4 of these day 2 isn’t ideal. I think I’d rather have gone with the pill form. My nausea isn’t crazy but the taste and sheer amount you have to eat is kind of not worth it. I’ll finish them out but will switch for a pill version for next month. Be warned the flavor is blah!
