Smashbox Covershot Palette - 0.21oz - Ulta Beauty

This is a great neutral compact. It packs a lot of neutral tones (matte and iridescent) in a small, easy to carry compact. I bought mine from Target and they did a great job of mailing it quickly and in good condition.

I have 3 Cover Shot palettes and love them except for this one. I never reach for this, even though the shades are great tones. They are just too hard to pick up enough on the brush. The matte formulas in the other Covershot palettes I own are soft and easy to use.

Sadly, I wish I had paid more attention to the teviews. The matte colors are really nice. Its smooth but this is outrageously over priced for the money! In todays ecnomy there are less expensive brands that are just as beautiful. You are paying for the packaging and brand. This will last no time before I will need to choose another. Really surprised by all the great reviews. About half of my makeup is drugstore makeup so I’m not a top-of-the-line type person when it comes to makeup but this stuff is so poorly pigmented and fairly chalky that I would expect it to be a cheap $5 pallet. I’ve been using the Naked2 pallet for several years and love it as a simple base and use the black as eyeliner and it all goes on crisply and as dark as I want it to be. I can’t use this black as eyeliner at all. I have to layer it three times and even then I don’t get a crisp line out of it. I love the colors but everything else is pretty bad.

These are good colors and relatively easy to blend. But is there an annual award for salesmanship; maybe The Pluggie? If so, I'm nominating whoever came up with the descriptive phrase for this product I've seen several times, "travel size." It's about one-third the amount of shadow I'd expect for the price. My bad for not picking up on THAT clue.

Great neutrals looking for a cool look or a warm look.

This is my go-to palate. It's hard to find the perfect purple but this one nails it. Plus the colors don't fade during the day and you can easily blend the darkest shades into the lightest shades. It blends nicely. I have cool/neutral undertones and this palate is perfect.

Stays on. Color looks great on.

I felt that the colors I got didn't quite match the picture online, but fortunately I still liked the colors and keeping it. The eyeshadow itself has no fall out issues, blends like a dream. one of the best eyeshadows I've used. lasted all day. Would recommend checking out the colors in person to buy but the quality is there.

I had high hopes - especially considering the brand and cost - unfortunately, it doesn’t blend well (no matter how many times I try) and the pay off is lacking. For the money, you could literally buy two of a less costly pallet and be happier overall. WOMP WAAAA

Great, matte palette! All the colors I wear and it doesn't crease or crack...Would buy it again!

I have sensitive eyes and I'm terrible at applying eyeshadow. This palette makes it easy to figure out basic looks, the powder blends wonderfully and doesn't sting my eyes, and is matte (thank goodness no glitter/shimmer). I really like how there is more of the two lighter shades I use daily. Looks good with brown eyes and olive skin.

Terrible quality. Looked like dollar tree makeup. The compact is cute but the pressed eyeshadow was crooked in the container. The box was not sealed with a sticker piece and box was not presentable either, it was worn looking. Super disappointed in the brand quality and no concern for health and safely being u sealed.

Love this palate for everyday wear. Doesn't hurt my sensitive eyes.

I like these shadows, but they're not perfect. The formula is easy to blend, the colors are all good for day to day wear; they aren't one swipe crazy pigment, it's definitely more of a buildable formula which I don't mind, but isn't everybody's cup of tea. I've never had problems with them creasing (I do use eye primer but some shadows still end up creasing anyway, these do not), but I have had problems with the darker colors fading throughout the day. The compact is also okay but could use some work; I like how small and simple the packaging is, it makes storing this pallet super easy and it makes traveling with it a dream, however the mirror is really weird. It warps your face when you look at it and almost isn't worth using at all tbh. Overall, I do like this pallet, I just see some room for improvement.

The shadows blended nicely and I I was able to create the eye look I wanted with minimal effort.

I love this to keep in my travel bag for all the neutrals. Shades are all very pigmented and easy to work with. They do translate a little different on the eye than they look in the pan. However, I've always been happy with how the eye look came out using them! If I want some shimmer, I just use whichever highlight I packed.

Needed to find a small eyeshadow palette that would cover my pinks and more neutral colors. I'm medium complexion with dark brown hair. Both sides of this palette were beautiful and perfect for what I needed. Long lasting and flattering!

Colors look just like they do in the images on line. The palate size is a little smaller than I expected. The shadow stays on throughout the day. Only negative is I don’t like how the palate does not stay open. The lid keeps falling back down.
