Very dim and ugly thanks to the Smokey look of the cover. I took a picture for this review and it’s funny, the lights look brighter and better in the photo. I got these for $3 on clearance and still not worth it.

I bought these as string lights for my room and I’m satisfied with them but not extraordinarily impressed. I was a little nervous looking at other reviews for lights saying the strands simply didn’t work; mine work perfectly fine! They are fairly dim, not quite bright enough as one strand to provide a lot of light in my room but 2 strands would be. The “smoked shade” is darker in real life than in the photos, they are definitely more gray, which contributes to the reduced brightness.
