A: Hi! We have some simple tips from our blog. 1. When the grill is cool, brush or scrape off built-up carbon on the underside of the lid. 2. Brush the cooking and charcoal grates to remove the leftover debris from your last grilling session. 3. Use a scraper to chip away any hard-to-remove debris on the inside of the bowl. 4. Make sure to empty the ash catcher - ashes left sitting in the ash catcher can promote corrosion. 5. Use our exterior grill cleaner to clean the outside lid and side tables of your grill.

Q: Does this grill have a warming rack? What about vents on the sides?

A: Hello VicE, this model does not feature a warming rack, nor can one be added. This model does not feature side vents, instead, the vents are located on the very bottom of the unit, as well as a vent located on the lid. Thanks!

Love it. Bought one for our CT home 10 years ago. Just bought another one in FL. Perfect for the two of us although we've used it and cooked for 8 on them. Also, still have the 22" we bought in 1998. Miss1ng a rubber "cup" on the end of the leg but still "Keeps-on-Grillin!"

When you don’t need a big grill the Smokey Joe does the job. These are well made and will last a long time if taken care of. They don’t take up much room so you can take them anywhere you go. I used it a couple of times so far and couldn’t be any happier with the quality of Weber grills!

I own two of these. Got this little guy on sale. Have used it a couple of times, there's a whole world of grilling out there. Take this grill with you and explore! Okay, that last part was cheesy, but it's a heckin' good little grill. I'm actually thinking about buying it's larger brother, the Jumbo Joe because I have enjoyed this one so much.

Compared to my previous tabletop grill my Smoky Joe is surprisingly easy to keep the temperature under control. I had been used to constantly hawking my food to prevent burning. I quickly figured out I no longer have do this with my Smokey Joe.

I use this in my camper and the small size fits in my storage area very well. The capacity of the grill is sufficient for the two of us. My only complaint is there is no hook on the inside of the lid to allow hooking to the base when opening to check or work on the food.

This was a replacement to our old Smokey Joe that we’ve had for 20+ years. Grew up with Weber grills. Perfect size for the two of us and also when we grill for the family! At home or on our camping trips. We have a Weber gas grill at home but there are times I want to charcoal grill. Camping it’s a must have. Definitely recommend this Smokey Joe for its ease of use and quality construction. I’ve found that Webers Rapidfire Chimney Charcoal Starter to be easier way to light the charcoal and have even burn! I love my Smokey Joe grill!!
