A: Thank you so much for your question. At Snuggle Me, safety is our #1 priority. Our infant loungers were originally designed to be used when actively engaging with your baby during supervised lounging or tummy time. Because our lounger was not intended to be used for sleep or as a co-sleeper, we do not recommend using the lounger in, or in place of a crib, bassinet or as a sleeping device (as recommended by the AAP). A: Cosleeping in a bed with parents is risky to the baby's health and not recommended. Sharing the bed with your baby multiplies the risk for sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) fivefold, according to a 2013 study. The American Academy of Pediatrics cites the dangers of SIDS and suffocation, and recommends that parents keep their baby out of their bed, especially during the first 3 months of life.

A: I believe it is recommended for naps, but not co-sleeping

A: They're rated safe for supervised sleep (same as all similar products).

A: Thanks so much for your question. Your baby’s safety is very important to us. Use the Infant Lounger to actively engage with your little one while they are lounging, enjoying tummy time or sitting up. The Snuggle Me® Lounger is NOT a sleeping device, and should never be put inside a bassinet or crib. NEVER leave your baby unsupervised in the lounger, and NEVER use your lounger as a sleep device.

A: My toddler still uses hers as a lounger for playing and reading in the living room.

A: Hi Maritza, thank you for asking! A baby won't "outgrow" the infant lounger until they measure 21 inches from the top of their head to the bottom of their bum. Many little ones will continue to use it well past 9 months as there are no set minimum or maximum weight or height requirements for the infant lounger. The most common position is to place your baby's head and torso within the center sling and as they grow their legs will drape over the bottom cushion.

A: Hi Kkennedy! All of our items are machine washable! The loungers, covers, swaddles and feeding support can be washed on COLD with mild detergent (avoid getting detergent onto the actual products). Do not use an agitator, if possible, with the loungers/feeding supports as this can shift the filling. Use a gentle/delicate cycle with the lowest spin speed set, high settings could shift the fill. We recommend a detergent free of optical brighteners and have known Dreft and all Tide (even free and clear) detergents to cause problems with the organic dyes used on all Snuggle Me products. Because our covers contain water-based dyes, it is best to wash covers alone to avoid bleeding to other fabrics 🧺 Dry your items on COOL (any heat could potentially shrink cotton). To be completely safe, air dry your items. Covers should be laid flat to dry, as hanging can cause the fabric to stretch. A: Hi, Mya! Our Infant Loungers are 29 x 17 x 4.5 and intended for 0-9months+ and can be enjoyed well beyond 9 months usually until around 2 years old. While the Toddler Loungers are 36 x 22 x 4 and intended for true toddlers who are strong crawlers that can correct their own positioning, 9 months+ and 21" from head to bum (not feet). A: Hi Jeanette! The Infant Loungers are designed for babies 0-9 months, while the Toddler Loungers are meant for toddlers 12 months and older who are crawling. Please keep in mind that the Snuggle Me is intended for supervised use, to help with active engagement, play, and bonding with your little one while they’re awake. Always stay within reach to ensure their safety in case they roll or need repositioning.

A: Hi, M! Our loungers are made from a sturdier organic cotton to help maintain their shape over time. We use GOTS-certified organic cotton for all of our fabrics. GOTS certification is the highest standard for materials and guarantees that no chemicals are used in either the growing or manufacturing processes. I hope this information helps! A: Hi Dani! Thanks so much for reaching out with your question! Our infant loungers are machine washable. We suggest using cold water, mild detergent and a gentle agitation setting. If using a dryer, use a cool temperature setting or lay flat to air dry. Make sure to dry your lounger COMPLETELY before using again.
