Bought this on clearance and was still a waste of money. I only used this three times before it just completely stopped working. First couple of times, there was a strong, burnt plastic smell but there was no damage to the rice cooker. I also had to press the cook button multiple times because it would just stop randomly. Tried it the third time and it just gave up. When I removed the container, the heating element was dented. Such a bummer because it was a cute purple color and larger than other rice cookers I've used :/

I was skeptical from the start. It seemed really cheaply made when we took it out of the box. We were pleasantly surprised after our first use. Then it broke after about 6 uses. I hope we can get our money back. 0/10 would not recommend.

Hot plate melted on first use. Within seconds of turning it on, the smell of a burning candle quickly filled my kitchen. I thought maybe it was because it was the first time being used, but after a couple of minutes the smell was so strong. It automatically shut off and wouldn't turn back on, so I lifted the rice bowl and noticed the hot plate was melting. Completely defective and wouldn't recommend anyone purchasing!

I will be returning this item. I just took it out of the box and realized you can’t adjust the cook time at all. There are only two settings: “cook” and “keep warm”, and the machine switches from “cook” to “keep warm” whenever it thinks it’s ready. No thanks.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!! Please listen to the reviews. This item shouldn’t be sold at all. It is a FIRE HAZARD!! It started smoking and smelling like burnt plastic right away. I unplugged it and still the smell lingered. This thing is dangerous and seriously should be recalled!!!
