Solid Wood Cribbage

Picked this up during a trip, when we realized we forgot our travel board. It's a great board! A good size and has three lines for a three person game (no tracking down an extra board, improvising, or playing 2 vs 1). Pegs are a good size and can be stored.in a space under the board. The only fault I can find are in the instructions. Normally we wouldn't look at them, but we wanted to see if it mentioned where the double skunk was. We only saw the "S" marking the skunk on the board. I know there are variations so I won't mention the differences in play I saw. What got me was the instructions for dealing out cards for 3- and 4-player games. The 3-player misses a step. As written it would leave the crib with only three cards. It fails to mention the dealer has to deal a card to crib. In the 4-player game it states to deal each player four cards. This would leave each player with three cards in hand and four cards in the crib. A 4-player game is also dealt five cards. I feel this would make the game harder and confuse new players. Overall a good product. I would buy this product again if needed, but I hope the mistakes in the instructions were fixed.

I was impressed by how good of quality this cribbage board was. I really liked the solid wood. Excited to get back into playing cribbage with this set.

My kiddos enjoy spending time with their grandparents and learning to play card games, and the grandparents enjoy that not everything is a video game. The box is small and convenient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is a challenging one. It was difficult to learn how to play at the beginning but with practice it gets easier. I do feel like this isnt a game for young children like the game states 8+ unless they catch on to the rules quickly. Thats also another challenge teaching others to play. It was a good experience learning how to play since I always heard about the game but never played it before. I recommend this game for young adults and older.

My family, friends and I love playing games and try to have game night once a week and so this was a great addition to our game collection. It was very easy to learn and understand how to play. It's a solid wood Cribbage board with a full deck of cards, pegs, and a 3 track board. There's a hidden compartment on the bottom of the board that holds the pegs for easy and safe storage. This game is for ages 6 and up and for 2 or more players. It's very durable and can be great not only to add to your game collection, but it's also easy and convenient to take on the go, very portable.

We opened the instruction book and started to follow the rules and set all the game pieces up and let me just say this game is beyond hard to understand. There was 4 of us trying to read the rules and trying to figure it out but none of us could. Looks like a fast, fun game but this one just isn't for us.

I hope this gets easier, but, as an adult, I had an insanely hard time getting it open and the plastic slider kept bending! Anywho! I could see this game being fun for a child that gets into solitaire or some other type of cards, but for my daughter, she didn't get into it much. We still ended up enjoying the company of each other and learning a new game!

He had a blast with learning it and we got the whole family playing. It is very well constructed. We like how the board folds in half and the deck of cards are decent. The pegs were a little tough to get to stay in some of the holes, but as we kept playing it got better. I like that the pegs have their own little spot in the bottom of the board so they don't get lost. It is a good set and definitely a nice addition to our game collection.

The game is pretty easy to play and quick but can be difficult with skilled players. It's definitely a fun game to start with your children to challenge them! It really teaches strategy and can be quite competitive. The pegs have a little slide out on the bottom of the board to be dumped out. It also comes with its own deck of cards. This is a great set to learn cribbage on and is easy to put away when done!
