Sonic the Hedgehog Death Egg Action Figure Playset

This looked cool but horrible toy. Sonic doesn't go around... button is useless... dr Eggman comes apart too easily.... takes up lots of space for not much play ability.

A little hard go put together but also falls apart easily. One year later and we have lost the little peices to fit it together.

Assembly was not easy, instructions were not labeled or very descriptive. Essentially have to figure it out myself. My 4 year old got extremely bummed and thought it was going to be more exciting. Pieces also fall apart too easily

Make sure when yiu are assembling this you line uo the tabs on the base or else the bottom pieve of track will not click in. Nowhere in the directions does it say this. Wasn't worth the original $40 so glad it was half off today.

Falsely advertised as sonic has to be pushed around. Instructions were completely useless I had to YouTube how to assemble it. My six year old got bored with it within a few mins. Also falls apart too easily.

What a disappointment. Instructions are awful. Sonic doesn’t spin on the track unless you awkwardly push it with your hand and everything falls apart? Trash. Ten year old son was so excited to get this for his birthday.. what a waste of money.

Weak instructions and toy never worked, i dont know why paying so much for a toy to waste so much time assembling it and a kid desperate to play with it its just tortured

It was kinda hard to put together and took quite a bit of patience — the instructions weren’t easy to follow and Sonic isn’t able to glide all the way around in a full circle BUT he still had a blast using the Death Egg in creative play with other Sonic sets! It was a great addition!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so first impression after getting this product to review: I did not expect it to be this big! It says 2.5" with a few small figures but this was a huge box with a big set to assemble (see photos). The assembly instructions are completely unclear and are basically just pictures with arrows which made it pretty difficult to put together. My 4 year old enjoys it but it's not an automatic motion toy at all. You have to push Sonic to move him around the track and then push the button to activate the "explosion" when he's under the villain. Underwhelming. You also have to continuously put Sonic back on the track, which my kid can't do themselves so that's my job.. every 10 seconds! It's a good idea for a toy but I think it could have been executed much better.

It’s super cute, but other than that, this was a waste of money. Buying this will not only put you back ~$40 but will also infuriate your child since it won’t stay together or work as intended. So you’ll be dealing with a frustrated child, who will refuse to even look at it due to the ever growing disappointment this toy’s functionality has created. Don’t buy it unless you keep it in the box as a collectible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little playset was easy to put together! The instructions were picture instructions but honestly didn’t help much. It was pretty intuitive. It’s so much fun to slam on the button and destroy dr egg man! I love that sonic can go both ways on the track. It’s also very nice that it doesn’t need batteries to be played with. It was a little nostalgic for me as a mom but still new and blast for my 7 year old.

This toy is terrible. The directions are not clear at all. Assembly is a pain and the game is so boring. My kids tried once and haven’t touched it since.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute toy for any Sonic fan. The problem is, there are minimal instructions to put together and that makes it a little difficult. I also had a hard time snapping in the bottom track piece for Sonic to slide on. This means that he didn’t launch around the egg like he was supposed to. I think the toy can use some improvement but it is a cool concept and much bigger than I thought it would be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sonic toy is fairly easy to assemble and does not require any batteries. Sonic requires someone to move him along the tracks and there is a button that can be pushed to make him jump into Dr. Eggman's vehicle and make it fall apart. Dr. Eggman and his vehicle are easily reassembled to play another round.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly I’m confused above it says I was getting a 2.5 inch play set showing sonic a small death egg and 2 other characters, but the set I got is huge is over 12 inches tall, it doesn’t come with the figures shown other then sonic and it has egg man, the set says 7 plus my 6 year old likes sonic but is bored with this I don’t see this as a toy for 7 plus: may son might have liked it at age 5 if it worked, I looked up YouTube videos and it seems this ones is defective because it doesn’t do what’s shown in the video eggman doesn’t explode you can spin sonic on one track if you want to change tracks you have to do it manually the button is operating one switch not both like shown in the brands you tube video, I also found it very hard to put together with the instructions provided there were no words just poor pictures that leave you confused it took so long to put together, maybe I did it wrong and that’s why it’s not working but I don’t think so I put it together wrong several times and when I did it wrong the pieces wouldn’t snap so when they snapped I was convinced it was correct. It’s a cute decoration if you have room for it but we don’t (as decor) I was confused and let down, this was gifted had it not been I would return because it’s way to much work to figure this out. You tube videos could help but I tried to take it apart and start from scratch and it’s very hard to get apart.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i received the Sonic PRIME- 2.5" Death Egg Playset with Sonic, i actually don’t have a picture of this cuz my sister got it from the mail box cuz i was out of town and gave it to my nephew before i could take better pictures,he is almost 2. i think hes a little young for it, cuz he found it fun for a couple days she said then didnt play with it but we love sonic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this Sonic Death egg playset complimentary in return of an honest review. My boys, ages 9, 6 and 2 are Sonic fans and were SUPER excited to get this toy in the mail. We had to put the toy together, but it came together pretty easily (no tools needed.) They played with it for a little bit, but became bored with the track and the Dr Robotnik part and just played around with the Sonic character. They did look for it again first thing the next day and played with it again, but now its just been hanging around untouched. The look is pretty cool with the dome part being Dr Robotniks face and this toy would be a good display for a diehard Sonic fan!
