The IDW run of Sonic comics has been great. I’ve read the first 20~something issues. But the introduction of two new characters, Tangle and Whisper, is my favorite aspect of the new Sonic universe. That’s why I absolutely had to have their spinoff series, aptly named Tangle and Whisper. This a collection of a mini series of issues where they go off together on their own mission and grow closer as compassions. Tangle is super outgoing and rambunctious and Whisper is shy and quiet but proficient and calculated. They make an amazing pair and it was nice to get to see more of them and less focus on Sonic and the other usual main cast. I can only hope these two become playable characters in a future Sonic game.
