Sonoma 2-Drawer Nightstand Black - Prepac

I did not want to break the bank replacing our nightstand and settled with this. The drawers open smoothly and the depth & width is nice. To elevate the look, I changed out the hardware. Took off 2 stars because there were chips. The material isn’t the best, but it’s a good option if you want something affordable and sleek.

Easy assembly I mean super easy. Blue rollers on one side red on the other. Color folded doesn’t get much easier

Ordered two, and both were unusably damaged on the top piece. Looks like a machine did the same gouge on both table tops, definitely didn't happen (to two separate packages) during shipping.

The instructions are a little hard to follow at times, but that may just be my lack of experience is putting furniture together. Thankfully my boyfriend was at hand to help me out, the wood scratches easily but a marker is included in the packaging to cover any marks, which does take away the look of damage, a bit of polish over it and it's good as new. I'd prefer if it didn't scratch so easily though. However, the nightstands are lovely when assembled, a good height and the drawers are a reasonable depth.

This is just what my guest bedroom needed, good price and Nice finish too. Excellent assembly instructions, the first one took a half hour to assemble, the next one took 15 minutes. The sides and back of the drawers are solid wood which should help them last. Over all, these will last for years I'm sure.

This was a wedding gift and the bride and groom loved it.

Looks great and works perfectly however there is nothing that secures the bottom of the drawers to the sides of the drawers. So I super glued it and it works great after that!!!!

I bought three, one lost four screws. The overall quality is bad, very disappointing.

Assembly took about an hour by myself, but everything was aligned correctly and I only needed a hammer and a cordless screwdriver. It is very sturdy and looks great. For less than $100, I'm very satisfied!

This nightstand, like any furniture bought in a store and is delivered in a "flat box," takes some time to install. I read quite a few complaints about difficulties putting together, etc. Obviously I can't say whether or not those persons truly had a defective product, but I'm leaning more towards user error. The wood is composite, so if you install it improperly, or turn a bolt too tight (which happens when using power drill) then yes, you might run into some issues. But if you take your time, follow the instructions (which I found to be very thorough and detailed), you will end up with a good looking nightstand. Quite honestly, you get what you pay for in terms of quality. But if you like the style and need a decent value nightstand, this is a great option. And if you're uncomfortable putting furniture together, I would suggest getting something preassembled.

Easy to put together. works great for it's purpose (a child's bedroom). Wheels on drawers make it easy to open and close.

I think this nightstand is great for the money! It took my husband about an hour to put together and it looks great! Nice smooth, shiny black color. A little on the small side but it was just what I needed. The price is right and it looks great.

We purchased this nightstand is for a tween room-remodel. The nightstand was put together fairly quickly and looks nice for "knock-down" furniture. The hardware (knobs) are very nice! The only thing is when next to a standard size bed on a standard frame, the nightstand sits very low. It is so short that we can't see it next to the bed! We plan to add "feet" to the bottom to raise it up a little.

I bought two for my studio apt.The nightstand is exactly what I expected for this price point. It was relatively easy to put together and looks great. I just wish the drawer bottoms were sturdier. The reason I have to knock it down to three stars is because the drawer bottoms were missing from one nightstand. However, customer service responded quickly and new bottoms are supposedly on the way.

I bought this for my son's bedroom. His room is very small and this fit perfectly. It was not to small or to large. The drawers are very roomy. This was also very easy to assemble.

I bought 2 of these for my daughters room. For the price I think they're great value. Much better than any other black pieces I have bought in-store or on-line. Fairly easy to assemble and instructions were easy to follow. The knobs are solid nickel (I think) Good Value! 5 Stars

Not great for a room where you will be using this everyday. It's pretty flimsy. I ordered these for my guest room - so it will be fine there as I will just be using the drawers for storage. The directions for assembly are OK - they could be a tad easier as they just lump all the hardware together vs separating them out based on what number you are on. Again I wouldn't recommend for a bedroom where you will be opening and closing the door everyday.
