A: Mine broke after about 12 months of use. This is usually how long sony WH1000 headphones last. I'm on my 2nd pair.

Purchased new and died after a year. The right side of the headponhes just stopped playing sound, completely. I called Sony and they are making me pay a repair fee and shipping to get it fixed after I already spend $250 for these headphones and only being a month over my warrenty. Don't buy Sony headphones.

Bought these 6 months ago and had nothing but trouble since. Randomly lose sound frequently, disconnected from laptop and to top it all of today while packing them in the carrying case one of the legs snapped. Really disappointed and will not be buying Sony headphones again

I put off buying these for ages as I just couldn't justify the price tag. My husband bought them for me as a Christmas gift in the end. I regularly fly with my work and these headphones are a game changer for flights. The noise cancelling completely blocks out all the noise. It was bliss! I actually managed to sleep for a few hours.

I got these as a Christmas gift. I love how comfortable they are, they fit over my big ears. The sound quality is incredible. I love the DSEE Extreme and EdgeAI. It really hels when listening to comedy shows from 06. I love the ANC, but especially the Ambient mode is great, especially with the voice filter. Something that isn't talked about much is the hourly clock that's part of the autoplay feature. I don't use the actual autoplay, but I do use the hourly clock, and the thing that tells you the date and weather in the morning. I love how it says good morning to me. The Sound Connect app does need screenreader support added for VoiceOver, I'm a blind user and this is the only problem I have. I lost my XM3 at a McDonalds and missed how comfortable they were. i switched to the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones for a while, but they weren't as comfy, that's why I asked for the XM5. Also the microphones are awesome for calls, and the Alexa function is amazing. Short story: Get these headphones, they're amazing.

I really love the fit and comfort of these headphones. I used them for the gym. Very easy to clean. I used to use beat solo for the gym, but they collect a stain on the earpiece, these seem like they won’t. Definitely recommend for the sound proofing and I don’t have to turn them all the way up to get good quality.
