Halfway upon putting this together, I realized there was a piece of metal obstructing the screw hole. I tried to pull it back with pliers, but that didn’t fix anything. The design flaw affects the outside of the hole as well since it creates raised and jagged edges, making it impossible for the screw to go in even once the piece of metal that was blocking, the inside of the hole was removed.
