I washed them before using them. They are super soft and fluffy. They dry you nicely with zero shedding. I have washed mine a few times with no issues.     These towels are lovely, but they show their wear in the wash. Do not wash with anything that can catch on the loops of the plush towels as the threads will break and then look unsightly. I don’t much care about this in terms of others seeing it because it’s my towel but people concerned about aesthetics to take care to wash these towels will like items only.

    These are the FLUFFIEST towels! I just folded four and I couldn’t believe how high they stacked. I bought two hand towels several months ago to test their limits and really put them through the wringer - makeup stains, washed with bleach, washing them with old raggedy towels, you name it. They’ve held up very nicely! No pulled threads or seams fraying, and still a good bit of fluff. So happy with these bath towels!
