Disaster of napkin rings

This is sold by a 3rd party vendor. I ordered 4 packs of 4 of these Spode napkin rings. They are porcelain, therefore, fragile. The 4 boxes, whose lids are not taped down, and are easily removed, were placed in a very large box, much larger than necessary, with not one piece of bubble wrap, packing paper, or any other packing supply to help stabilize and prevent these 4 boxes from rolling around, loosing their lids, and allowing the 16 napkin rings to clink and clash with each other. When the box arrived it was an absolute napkin ring disaster. Out of the 16 rings only 4 survived the travel from NJ to north GA. 4 were chipped, 4 were very badly chipped, and 4 were shattered into pieces. I returned the 3 sets of 4 to Target, I let the customer service personnel assisting me know, and contacted the distributor just to inform them that it was a mess, and someone needs to do a better job packaging shipments, but in all honesty it didn’t seem like anyone really cared and just basically said “note taken” and pointed the finger at each other. So, just do yourself a favor, don’t purchase. Avoid the irritation. They’re pretty, but I’ll just order the damaged 3 boxes I had to return elsewhere.
